Four checks to spot a phishing email. Phishing is a message that pretends to come from someone you trust, so that you click a link, open a file or share a password.
Check one: the sender. Look at the full address, not just the name. A message from your bank that comes from a strange domain is a warning sign.
Check two: the pressure. Urgent deadlines, threats to close your account or a prize that expires today are there to make you act before you think.
Check three: the link. Before you click, hover over it and read where it really goes. If the address doesn't match the company, don't open it.
Check four: the request. A real company won't ask for your password or a payment code by email.
If an email fails any of these checks, don't reply and don't click. Report it to your IT team, and if you already clicked, tell them right away. Reporting fast is what keeps the whole team safe.

Keep confidential information out of the script
To generate a video, the project's text is sent to the AI providers that do the generation, listed in our privacy policy. Treat a training script like anything else you would send to an outside service: if it shouldn't leave the company, it shouldn't be in the script.
- Use roles instead of names: "the shift supervisor", not a person.
- Leave out customer data, internal figures, passwords, network details and anything under NDA.
- Describe a security control in general terms; never explain how to get around it.
- Have the process owner or compliance approve the script, then paste the approved text: it is narrated word for word.
Training video or marketing explainer?
They look alike but do different jobs. A marketing explainer persuades a stranger in a minute or two and ends with a call to action. A training video changes what a colleague does on Monday and ends with a recap of the rule. How long should an employee training video be?
For most workplace topics, 1 to 3 minutes per video, one behaviour per video. Longer subjects work better as a series of short modules than as one long video. Any AnimatedBoard video can run up to 15 minutes if you need it.
Can I turn our training manual into videos?
Yes. Upload the manual as a PDF, .docx or .doc of up to 25 MB and tell our AI which section to cover; it writes a narrated explanation that you edit before anything is drawn. Scanned PDFs don't work because they contain no text.
Can I upload the videos to our LMS?
Yes, as an MP4 file, like any other video. There is no SCORM export and no direct LMS integration, so completion tracking and quizzes stay in your LMS.
Can we make the same training in several languages?
Yes, on paid plans: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, with US and UK English and Spain and Latin American Spanish. Translate the script and create each language as its own video; its drawings and voice are generated for that narration, so each version spends its own minutes.
Can I add our company logo to the videos?
Yes, on any plan, including the free minute. The logo sits in a corner of the video, and no AnimatedBoard watermark is added.
Can several people on my team use one account?
AnimatedBoard has no team workspaces or shared seats: each account has its own videos and its own balance of minutes. The simplest setup is one person producing the series and sharing the MP4 files.
