Script

The brain weighs just three pounds, yet it uses 20% of the body's energy…

Our app made this video from a plain-text script in about a minute: you paste it, click Create video and our AI draws and narrates every scene. Nothing edited by hand.

How to make a YouTube video with AnimatedBoard

Five steps, and only the first three need you.

  1. Say what the video is about

Paste your script, or write the topic and choose a length from 1 to 15 minutes: our AI writes the script and you can change every word. Writing it is free. No idea yet? Our free YouTube video ideas generator gives you three.

  2. Choose the look

A whiteboard video, where a hand draws each scene as the voice speaks, or an illustrated story. 19 looks, 16:9 for YouTube or 9:16 for Shorts, and background music if you want it.

  3. Choose the voice

Natural AI voices in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, with several accents. Or narrate it yourself.

  4. Click Create video

Our app splits the script into scenes, draws each one and narrates it in sync. You don't touch a timeline. If you want to change a scene afterwards, you can.

  5. Download it and upload it to YouTube

A Full HD MP4 with captions, plus three title options, the description with chapters and tags, ready to paste into YouTube Studio.

Everything your YouTube video needs

  • Full HD for YouTube and Shorts

1920×1080 for your channel and 1080×1920 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.

  • Captions

Burned into the video if you want them, and as .srt and .vtt files for YouTube.

  • Title, description and chapters

Three title options, a description with the chapters already timed, and tags. Copy and paste.

  • Thumbnails

Two thumbnail ideas drawn for your video, with the headline in real type: no spelling mistakes.

  • Shorts from your video, free

Turn parts of a long video into vertical Shorts without spending a single extra minute.

  • Your channel, your look

Your colours, your logo and the same characters in every video, so viewers recognise you.

Prefer to film yourself? The short version

If your channel is about you, a phone is enough to start. These five things make the biggest difference:

  • One video, one question: if you can't say what it answers in one sentence, it's two videos.
  • Write the first sentence first. It has to tell people in a few seconds why to keep watching.
  • Sound before image: a quiet room and the microphone close to you.
  • Light from in front of you, never behind.
  • Cut everything that doesn't serve the idea. Most first videos get better by getting shorter.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a YouTube video for the first time?

With AnimatedBoard: create a free account, paste your script or write the topic, choose a look and a voice and click Create video. Our app draws and narrates every scene and you download an MP4 ready for YouTube. Your first minute is free.

Can I make YouTube videos without showing my face?

Yes. That is exactly what our app is for: whiteboard and illustrated story videos narrated by a natural AI voice or by you, with no camera at all.

Can I make YouTube videos with AI and monetize them?

Yes. YouTube allows AI-assisted videos and they can be monetized. What it doesn't monetize is mass-produced, repetitive or reused content, so give every video its own script and its own point.

Do I need any software, camera or editing skills?

No. AnimatedBoard works in your browser. You don't download anything, record anything or edit on a timeline.

How long can my YouTube video be?

From 1 to 15 minutes per video, in 16:9 for YouTube or 9:16 for Shorts. You can also join several finished videos into one of up to an hour.

How much does it cost?

Your first 1-minute video is free, with no card. Writing scripts is always free; after that, plans include minutes of video every month.
