An explanation, not a slideshow of your pages
Most PDF to video converters put each page on screen and have a voice read it. That works for a presentation you already designed. For a report, a manual, lecture notes or a chapter, it gives you a video of a document, which is exactly what nobody wanted to read in the first place.

How to turn a PDF into a video

Does it work with scanned PDFs?
No. A scanned PDF is a picture of each page with no text inside, and AnimatedBoard doesn't run OCR. Upload the original file or paste the text.
Can I convert a Word document to video?
Yes. Word files in .docx and .doc work the same way as PDFs, up to 25 MB. You can also paste text from any other source.
Will the AI change the facts in my document?
It rewrites the document as a spoken explanation, so the wording changes, but it is instructed never to invent names, laws, dates or citations and to draw charts only from numbers quoted in your text. You read the script before anything is generated and can correct any sentence.
Are the images from my PDF used in the video?
No. Every scene is drawn new so the whole video has one consistent look. If a scene needs a specific diagram, use "Use my own image" on that scene and our AI redraws your image in the video's style.
