About AnimatedBoard

AnimatedBoard is for people who explain things on video and would rather write than film or animate by hand: YouTube creators, including faceless channels, teachers and students, trainers and small teams who need explainer, lesson or onboarding videos.

You bring a script, an idea and a length, or a PDF or Word document. You get a narrated video in one of 19 looks, 10 whiteboard styles (white board, chalkboard, blueprint, notebook and more) and 9 illustrated story styles, in six formats from 16:9 to 9:16, in Full HD and without a watermark on any plan.

When you create a video, our AI reads the script and proposes where each scene starts and what to draw in it. It then draws every scene in the look you chose, generates the narration, and works out the moment each word is spoken, so that in the whiteboard looks the hand draws each element when the voice names it. Before you pay for the whole video, you can read every scene, change its words or its drawing, and only then render the MP4.

The language, image and voice models behind it come from third-party providers, which our Privacy Policy lists with what each one receives. We do not sell your content or use it to train AI models of our own, and the rights to what you make are yours, including commercial use, as our Terms of Service explain.

Our AI cuts and draws, but it does not rewrite your narration. The text read in each scene is cut word for word from what you wrote; if our AI's proposal ever loses a word, the split falls back to a plain cut by words. Lines in your script that aren't meant to be read aloud, such as "Scene 3" or "Visual: a map of Europe", are shown to you before the video is created and become drawing directions instead.

There are only a few places where our AI writes text, and each one is your choice. If you have no script yet, it drafts one from an idea or writes one from your document, and from then on it is your script to edit like any other. It writes a short optional closing scene that sums up and says goodbye, which never touches your script. And if you ask for captions in another language, it translates them line by line, while the voice keeps reading your words.

Every new account gets 1 minute of video once, with no card and no watermark. Paid plans are Starter at $29 a month for 30 minutes, Creator at $79 for 100 and Pro at $149 for 250; billed yearly they cost $240, $660 and $1,248 a year. You pay for minutes of generated video: writing and splitting scripts, previews and exports are free, and the editor shows the cost before anything is charged. The pricing page has every detail.
