Why whiteboard and story channels work without a face
Most faceless videos are built from stock clips: a voice over footage that could belong to any other channel. Viewers have learned to recognise that look. Drawn videos avoid the problem because the pictures are made for your sentences. When the voice says "a jar with ten thousand dollars in it", a hand draws that jar, and the next sentence changes it.

Choose the topic and the length
One question per video, with your angle on it. Pick the length first: it decides how many words the script needs (about 160 a minute with an American English voice).

Can a faceless AI channel get monetized on YouTube?
Yes, if the channel is original. In July 2025 YouTube renamed its "repetitious content" rule to "inauthentic content", and in July 2026 it spelled out what that covers: repetitive videos that can easily be made with AI, CGI or templates, with little variation from one to the next. Channels built mostly on that lose access to the YouTube Partner Program. Original work made with the help of AI remains monetizable, and YouTube has said so explicitly.
In practice, what gets a channel flagged is sameness: one template, one structure and one voice across dozens of near-identical uploads, with nothing the creator actually wrote. What protects it is authorship. That means scripts with your own research and angle, a different structure when the topic asks for it, and videos that say something the next channel doesn't.
AnimatedBoard is built around that. It never rewrites your script, so the video says what you wrote, and it makes a new drawing for every scene instead of reusing a template. No tool can promise monetization, though: YouTube reviews the channel as a whole, and the content is yours.

Yearly plans are billed once a year ($240, $660 or $1,248) and grant the 12 months of minutes at once. Redrawing a scene spends its seconds again unless a free scene edit covers it.

Resolution
16:9 renders at 1280×720 (HD) and 9:16 at 1080×1920. There is no 1080p landscape option yet.
Music
No background music is added. If your channel uses it, add it in your editor or in YouTube Studio.
Captions
Illustrated story videos can carry burned-in captions. Whiteboard videos don't: the drawing already shows what is being said.
Languages
Narration in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Portuguese, with American and British English and Spain and Latin American Spanish. The free minute uses one English or Spanish voice.
Ending
By default our AI adds a 3 to 5-second closing scene that sums up the topic and says goodbye, without "like and subscribe". You can switch it off.
Formats
The format is chosen per project: changing it later redraws the images, which spends minutes again. Pick 16:9 or 9:16 before generating.

Up to 15 minutes per video, on every plan. Your plan's minutes are a monthly total, not a length limit: 100 minutes can be ten 10-minute videos or one 15-minute video plus Shorts.
Can I use my own voice instead of an AI voice?
Yes, on any paid plan: upload your narration and the drawing follows it word by word. On the free minute you can use one AI voice in English or Spanish.
Can I make YouTube Shorts too?
Yes. Choose 9:16 when you create the project and the video renders at 1080×1920 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok. The drawings are composed for the frame, so make the Short as its own project: switching an existing project to another format redraws its images.
