What is AnimatedBoard
AnimatedBoard is a web tool that turns a written script into a finished animated video. It offers 22 looks in two families: doodle (thirteen board looks whose illustrations are drawn by a hand or revealed at the pace of the narration) and story (nine looks of illustrated scenes with cinematic narration). It generates the images and the voice, adds background music if you want it, and lets you edit every scene before downloading the video, up to 15 minutes long and in Full HD, in the format you chose, from landscape to portrait, with its captions as .srt and .vtt files.

A doodle video, or whiteboard animation, is a video in which a hand draws black line illustrations on a white background while a voice explains the content. It is widely used by education, finance and fun-facts channels because it holds attention and is cheap to produce.
Our AI splits the script into scenes, creates an illustration for each one, generates the narration (or uses your audio) and works out the exact second each element is mentioned so it is drawn at that moment. It then assembles the video, with the background music you chose, if any, and burned-in captions if you turned them on.
Yes, on any paid plan. You can upload your recording instead of using our AI voice, and the drawing syncs to your audio automatically. You can also clone your voice from a short reading under My voice, and our AI then narrates any script with it.
Yes, on any paid plan: choose Calm, Normal or Fast for our AI voice and listen to each speed before choosing. The voice itself speaks more slowly or more quickly, it isn't sped-up audio, and the drawing and captions follow it. A calm voice makes the same script last a little longer. Separately, any finished video can be downloaded at 0.5×, 0.75×, 1.25× or 1.5× for free.
Yes. Every scene keeps its text and its illustration. You can change the text, regenerate the image or upload your own, and only that scene is regenerated.
Yes. Every video, doodle or story, comes with its subtitles as .srt and .vtt files, taken from the script rather than a transcription, so there are no speech-recognition errors; upload them to YouTube as a caption track. Any look can also burn them into the picture, in one of five caption styles and even in a different language from the voice. They are on by default for story videos and off for whiteboard videos, and you switch them per video.
