How the AI whiteboard generator works

Scene split
Our AI reads the script and proposes where each scene starts and ends, with a short brief of what to draw. Your words are never rewritten: each scene's narration is cut verbatim from your text.
Illustration
For every scene it generates a black line drawing on white, in the whiteboard style, from that scene's brief. You can edit the brief, regenerate, or upload your own image for our AI to redraw in the look.
Voice and alignment
It narrates the script with a natural voice in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese or Japanese, or aligns to a recording you upload, and works out the timestamp of every word. On paid plans our AI voices can read Calm, Normal or Fast: the voice is asked to speak that way, not sped up, so it stays natural and the drawing keeps pace.
Drawing in sync and render
The hand draws each part of the illustration when the narration reaches it. The video is rendered in the format chosen for the project (landscape for YouTube, portrait for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, or square and other ratios) with a single soundtrack levelled to -14 LUFS, the loudness YouTube plays at, and the background music you picked, if any.
What makes an AI whiteboard generator different from a whiteboard editor
Classic whiteboard tools such as Doodly or VideoScribe are editors: they give you a library and a timeline, and you decide what appears and when. They can produce great videos; the cost is hours per video and re-timing every time the script changes.

What is an AI whiteboard video generator?

Will your AI rewrite my script?
No. Our AI only proposes where to cut scenes and what to draw. The narration of each scene is taken verbatim from your text, so what is said in the video is exactly what you wrote.

How long does it take to generate a whiteboard video?

Can I edit a scene after the video is generated?
